Lightning Fall

Lightning dance across the sky,
Lightning raze the ground.
This is the world you live in,
A world to which I've never been.

You see the lightning,
You think it harmless and far.
But I've seen what it can do,
And it does the same damage as you.

Lightning play across the gunfire,
And both do tear the land.
The lightning burns the tree and air,
But the rest is at your hand.

War and strife and pestilance,
All caused by humankind.
Blame them all on nature's source,
And its anger you will find.

So lightning dance across the sky,
And tear apart the land.
As you've seen and as you've done,
It'll turn this world to sand.
