Burn Empty
PostSubject: Burn   Burn Icon_minitimeFri Jan 23, 2009 8:13 pm

Light me on fire and watch me burn,
Hold tight my hand and watch me yearn.
Taken for granted, a tale far slanted,
And always remember what you learn.

Not a moment too soon, the divine intervention,
And a life to live with this dire distinction.
Never a thought for my darkest of darkest restrictions,
Because I live my life with only one conviction.

So light me on fire and watch me burn,
Take hold of my hand and watch me yearn.
A moment together without restraint,
Together two hearts that each beat feint.
A touch of life in a far dead mind,
And a treasure so rare, a precious find.
Owed nothing but given in turn,
Now a love so true, past adjourned.

Taken too long in grips poisonous,
Now held in the hands of love and lust.
A heart for which to care, this a must,
And nothing that may have need to adjust.

Perhaps death's a fate easily accepted,
And a path so simply directed?
In a life mistakenly navigated,
You've finally made this thirst be sated.

A hunger for something disgusting to taste,
And an urge too vile foranyone to face.
The feeling of life slipping through like lace,
All the whle running this endless race.

No longer a beast of minimal control,
And no longer a soul without a soul.
Building a body of life that's whole,
And neer once worrying of paying the toll.

So the point of this rambling worded so well,
amoment in which I've told what to tell.
Never once have I had anything to sell,
Not since the moment for you I had fell.

A moment alone with you in my arms,
And neither will have befell any more harm.
For once I can rest without an alarm,
And for once I will be willingly disarmed.

So light me on fire and watch me burn,
And never forget what it is you learn.
