Pass the land, myth and pain,
And life lived only to wain.
Years follow and days pass,
And the history is forgotten by mass.
I walk the land now hidden,
Fearful and disease-ridden.
A pestilance of mind and heart,
Pierce my soul, foul dart
Cringe and panic well my days,
And nevermore does joy stay....
-Public Enemy Number 1
Chapter 1:
A Grave Return
Fire falls around and abound,
And here I lay, on the ground.
Twenty more of these infernal fools,
Ended by my dear tools.
Stand and watch as fires burn,
Before I decide it's time to turn.
My hunting here has became so tough,
So it's time I said that's enough.
Move on to a moments respite,
Hidden from the blue and red light.
I must say these have been fun,
And I've enjoyed what I've done.
But my luck can only stretch so far,
And here I've nearly reached that bar.
Now it's time to rest and relax,
And return and review my dear facts.
Run into the forest I now do,
And I'll record my tale for all of you.
Starting now, it's a year past,
And soon will be this day, my last.
But for now a tale more carefully told,
Of my escape, so brave and bold.
Into the dakness of forest I ran,
And the police's hunt soon began.
A night of calm deep incase,
'Til I found my path easily paced.
In a tree I hid whilst my pray underneath,
Then down come I and in my teeth.
Blood so tasty flows through my mouth,
But out I must spit, this cursed filth.
Down he falls, a gun at hip,
A prize so fine, I lick my lip.
Pick the weapon with gentle hands,
This ultimate murderer of all things man.
Another coming, with hound in chain,
I leave the corpse where its lain.
The officer stops, completly flustered,
And then I leap with all strength mustered.
A shot twice fired, two more dead,
I feel the blood beat in my head.
Another group this way comes,
Too many to kill with just one gun.
But the other officer, gun he had,
In my worthy hands, not that cad.
Three more police, all guns held,
And with three careful shots, all three felled.
Why bother hunt a man like me,
When my superiority you can easily see?
My trek, though, has yet to begin,
And I musn't tell where I've been.
Arrange the scene, a cop gone bad,
And killed his fellows, he's gone mad!
I take no gun, evidence misplaced,
And I leave the others to find fears faced.
Through these trees in quick stride,
I soon find a place which to hide.
A cabin secluded a lost away,
The owner soon decided I could stay.
Now this section soon concludes,
But yourself do not let delude.
I simply take a break to feed my pet,
The owner which you've already met.
A minute or two, all I ask,
And a moment of drink from my flask.
Then I'll continue my tale to tell,
And a story of evil and true Hell.
