Stain me,
Break me,
Hand me away.
Take me,
Stake me,
Toss me into the fray.
I've been used,
Abused,
And now I've had enough.
I'll redo,
I'll revise,
So you won't seem so tough.
Remember,
Dismember,
All I had ever hoped.
Vengeance,
A resurgence,
As my hate and pain eloped.
You remind me,
You disgust me,
But at least I can thank you.
You showed me,
You healed me,
You reminded me what I could do.
Now begone,
None for one,
As I still have myself to regain.
Others have cursed,
Some have done worse,
And my soul can't take the pain.
But maybe,
There could be,
A way for me to free myself.
This world,
Countered,
And put my emotions on a high shelf.
